I‘m a biotechnologist that drifted to IT and project management. I’m passionate about the interplay of science, business and human relations. Being a people person I created an association (Boost Biotech) to build the bio-tech community of cooperating individuals, and provide them with occasions to connect, get inspired and start cooperating.
Boost Biotech Poland
This community includes over 2000 bio-tech engaged and interested people who actively participate in the association events in 7 polish cities (and counting). Through our website and social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Periscope) we reach an audience of 10k+ people, mainly form Poland but also from the neighboring countries and those, from which our Meet Biotech – Boost Biotech guests come from. We also actively help to build and promote the bio-tech start-up scene in our country.
Cooperating with your company, university or association we can help you reach the audience that is interested in the topic of bio-tech and promote your ideas or brand by spreading the word. We can also help you reach the young specialists who are active in the field, thus help in the search to hire talents or find partners – both in research and business.
We are currently planing to develop our activities in other European countries, so seeking for partners to organize the local meet-ups, professionals to give talks and companies interested in sponsoring our activities.
• Meet Biotech – Boost Biotech – regular, informal meetups (two talks and networking) with the goal of inspiring and motivating young professionals and triggering discussions and collaborations. Until now we had presenters from Poland, UK, US, Philippines, Brazil, Norway, Denmark, etc representing academia, business and the industry. We covered scientific projects, startup ideas and development and international industry projects. The events are organized in Lodz, Warsaw, Gdansk, Cracow, Poznan, Olsztyn and Lublin, with more cities to join soon.
